Review for Master of the Moon
    Author: Angela Knight
    Date of Review: 05/11/05
    Reviewed by: Nathalie

Reviewer Comments: In Master of the Moon, her latest installment in the Mageverse series, Angela Knight delivers yet another very sexy and gripping novel.

Diana London is the city administrator of Verdaville, a small town in South Carolina. Only the Chief of Police knows that, at night, Diana also works for the Verdaville Police Department… as a werewolf. And she’s not just any kind of werewolf: A Direkind, a supreme race of wolf-shifters immune to the magic of the Magekind.

When a particularly sadistic serial killer shows up in Verdaville, Diana knows that she’s dealing with a paranormal killer and that she might not be able to solve this crime on her own. Soon Diana is having very erotic and realistic dreams about a man she has never seen before. And when the man shows up in her office—and claims to be no other than the King of Fairies—Diana knows that she is in trouble.

Knight has created a fascinating world—the Mageverse—where fairies, vampires, and witches work together to save the world from the Dark Forces, with the help of characters from the Arthurian Legend—King Arthur, Lancelot, Morgana Le Fey—and an alien called Marlin. And the result is simply amazing.

The characters in Master of the Moon are wonderful. Diana is a strong, sexy, no-nonsense werewolf, while Llyr is funny, sexy, and oh so gorgeous. Like in all Knight novels, the love scenes are very erotic yet very tender, and the plot is fascinating.

This novel is the fourth in the Megaverse series; while you don’t need to read the previous novels to understand Master of the Moon, you will miss the pleasure of seeing some favorite characters return.

Review for Master of the Moon
    Author: Angela Knight
    Date of Review: 05/02/05

Reviewer Comments: Ms. Knight is back with another amazing read. This time we are reading about Llyr Galatyn the King of the Cachamwri Sidhe. This story is a continuation of the series that started with "Master of the Night." We met our dark hero briefly in the previous title and this story is a worthy effort for this yummy hero.

Llyr has lost every woman that he has ever loved to assasins that his brother has sent out to end his life. The insults keep coming especially when he is betrayed and it hits very close to home. The magic is powerful and he is forced to seek Merlin in order to see if they can work together to bring an end to this war he is fighting with his brother. What he doesn't realize is that his brother has formed a rather sick allience with the vampires. How and why are the questions that plague him. It's not until the vampires start seeking out humans that his world is turned upside down by a mysterious night visitor in his dreams. Fate has taken a hold of his destiny and he won't be the same. Nor will his heart. Problem is...there's a problem that will keep them from finding a happy ending...or does it?

Diana London is more than she seems. She is a she-wolf, or werewolf and she is hot on the trail of a murder that is hunting and savage in the way she kills. She is also more powerful in the magic department. Diana is forced to join ranks with the King of the Fairies. Problem with this is he speaks to her sensual soul. She wants him but can't have him...or can she? But, before they can cross that bridge they must defeat the dark power that will stop at nothing in order to achieve the one thing he wants. The death of Llyr.

This was a very fast paced read that fans of Ms. Knight will find vastly entertaining. Ms. Knight is an extremly talented author. She manages to combine a great storyline with sensual characters. The end result..."Master of the Moon." I highly recommend this read and I look forward to her next effort.
